Description

A sharp, tapered tip concentrates the cutting force on a small point, so the blade can cut, score and incise technical films, foils and multilayer composites while staying consistent and durable. It suits packaging lines and converting equipment in automated, high-demand production.

Made to custom sizes: 10 to 500 mm long, 5 to 200 mm wide and 0.5 to 20 mm thick, with tight tolerances and advanced grinding for clean incisions. Choose tool steel, HSS, stainless, tungsten carbide or ceramic, with TiN, TiAlN, Teflon or DLC coatings.

Manufacturing

Point angle, tip length, blade dimensions and bevel are ground to your drawing after heat treatment, and every blade is inspected before dispatch.

Frequently asked questions

Can you match a blade from a worn sample without a drawing?

Yes. Send the sample and we will measure it, confirm the geometry with you, and quote from there.

Which material and coating should I choose?

It depends on what you cut and how fast. Tell us the material, line speed and current blade life and we will recommend a grade and coating with the quote.
