Description
A tapered, double-bevel tip concentrates cutting force at a single point, giving clean piercing and scoring on multilayer film and delicate material where a flat edge would crush rather than cut.
Point angle, tip length and overall blade dimensions are made to your process — from fine scoring lines to full piercing cuts. Available in HSS, D2 tool steel or stainless.
Manufacturing
The point is ground symmetrically on both faces so the blade tracks straight under load, then the blade is hardened, finish-ground and inspected before dispatch.

What point angle is best for scoring without cutting through?
A wider, blunter angle generally scores without full penetration; send us your material and depth requirement and we will recommend an angle.
Can the tip length be extended for deeper piercing?
Yes, tip length is made to your specification, within limits set by the material thickness you are piercing.
