Score Cut Knife / Score Slitter Blade

Circular knife that scores to a set depth without cutting through, for clean fold lines, bends and controlled tearing.

Price: On request

Blades are manufactured to order, so pricing depends on geometry, material and quantity. Submit a pre-order and we will respond with a quotation.

Description

A score cut knife makes a surface or partial-depth cut without going through the full thickness. It is used to score for folds, bends or controlled tearing while the structure of the material stays intact. The common size is 76.2 mm outside diameter, 22 mm bore, 5.2 mm hub and 2 mm blade thickness.

Bevel angles, radii and edge configurations are made to the job. Choose HSS, D2 tool steel, carbide-tipped or stainless steel, with TiN or DLC coatings that reduce friction, prevent adhesive buildup and extend tool life.

Manufacturing

Diameter, bore, thickness and edge profile are finished to your drawing, the edge is ground after heat treatment, and every blade is inspected before dispatch.

Frequently asked questions

Can you match a blade from a worn sample without a drawing?

Yes. Send the sample and we will measure it, confirm the geometry with you, and quote from there.

Which material and coating should I choose?

It depends on what you cut and how fast. Tell us the material, line speed and current blade life and we will recommend a grade and coating with the quote.
