Description

The single bevel keeps the edge sharp and pushes the material aside as little as possible, which gives a clean, consistent slit at high line speeds. Diameters run from Ø12 to 500 mm, with bores from 10 to 100 mm and thicknesses from 0.5 to 5 mm.

Choose tool steel (D2, A2), high-speed steel (M2, M35, M42, CPM M4), stainless (420, 440C), solid or inlaid tungsten carbide, or zirconia and alumina ceramic. Coatings in TiN, TiAlN, Teflon (PTFE) or DLC add hardness, thermal stability or release where the material sticks.

Manufacturing

Diameter, bore, thickness and edge profile are finished to your drawing, the edge is ground after heat treatment, and every blade is inspected before dispatch.

Frequently asked questions

Can you match a blade from a worn sample without a drawing?

Yes. Send the sample and we will measure it, confirm the geometry with you, and quote from there.

Which material and coating should I choose?

It depends on what you cut and how fast. Tell us the material, line speed and current blade life and we will recommend a grade and coating with the quote.
