Description

Very abrasive, hard materials such as sand, glass, asphalt and bitumen wear an ordinary knife quickly. This machine knife uses advanced metallurgy and high-performance coatings to give wear resistance and cutting accuracy under continuous-duty conditions.

Sizes, tolerances and machine fit are made to order, including single-edge, double-edge, slotted or holed designs, and the material is matched to the abrasive intensity and the lifespan you need. Choose HSS, tungsten carbide or tool steels (D2, M2, SKD11), with TiN, TiCN or DLC coatings or polished and micro-ground surfaces.

Manufacturing

Dimensions, geometry and mounting are made to your drawing or sample, heat treatment and finishing are matched to the material you process, and every part is inspected before dispatch.

Frequently asked questions

Can you match a blade from a worn sample without a drawing?

Yes. Send the sample and we will measure it, confirm the geometry with you, and quote from there.

Which material and coating should I choose?

It depends on what you cut and how fast. Tell us the material, line speed and current blade life and we will recommend a grade and coating with the quote.
