Bed and rotor blades for granulating and size-reduction lines, ground to a shear angle that produces uniform granulate with less fines and less heat build-up in the regrind — both of which cost yield on a recycling line.
Bolt-hole pattern, length and thickness are matched to your machine so the blade seats without adjustment. Tool steel suits general regrind; carbide-tipped or solid carbide options extend service life on abrasive or filled plastics.
Blanks are cut and drilled to your bolt pattern before hardening, then the shear edge is precision-ground to hold its angle across repeated regrinds.
Yes, send us the machine model or the worn blade and we will match the bolt pattern, length and thickness exactly.
It varies with the filler, but carbide-tipped edges typically run several times longer than tool steel on glass-filled or heavily abrasive regrind.
