Description
A continuously toothed edge, rather than a smooth bevel, engages the material at many points at once — lowering the force needed to cut and giving a cleaner result on materials that a plain edge tends to push or tear.
Tooth geometry is engineered to your material: fine teeth for a smooth finish on food and film, coarser teeth where the material is thicker or more fibrous. Offered in D2, HSS or stainless steel.
Manufacturing
Teeth are precision-ground after heat treatment to hold a consistent profile along the full edge, then the blade is inspected and shipped with its measurement record.

What tooth pitch do you recommend for food products?
A fine pitch generally gives the cleanest result on food and film; send a sample of your material and we will confirm a pitch before manufacturing.
Can the blade be re-sharpened once the teeth wear?
HSS and D2 versions can be re-ground a number of times; we can advise on regrind limits for your specific tooth profile.
