Description
A hexagonal profile turns one blade into six cutting edges: rotate it in its mount as an edge dulls, and the next edge is ready — cutting blade changes and the material cost that goes with them on abrasive, high-wear jobs.
Built for advanced textiles and composites that chew through a conventional edge quickly, including aramid, carbon fibre and fibreglass fabric. Available in HSS or D2, sized to your bore and across-flats dimension.
Manufacturing
Each blade is ground on all six edges to the same angle and finish, so cutting performance does not vary as the blade is rotated through its working life.

How do we know when to rotate the blade to the next edge?
A drop in cut quality is the usual sign; most customers rotate on a fixed schedule based on material throughput once that interval is established.
Can the across-flats size be matched to an existing holder?
Yes, send us the holder drawing or dimensions and we will size the blade to fit.
